On March 18th, in order to strengthen the connection with the alumni, and do a good job in the alumni work and to gather the alumni’s power to celebrate the centenary anniversary of Xiamen University, He Yuanzan, the Secretary of the Party Committee of the International College, and Gao Xing,  the Office Director and the college delegates visited Huahui Glass(China) Co., Ltd. Mr. Huang Ganggang, the General Manager of the company, an alumnus of the International College in 2006, and the Executive Vice President of International College Alumni Association, had a cordial discussion with the delegation of International College and accompanied their visit.

During the discussion, He introduced to Mr Huang the development of the International College in recent years and the preparations for XMU’s centenary celebration, and expressed the appreciation for the alumni’s support and concern, and sincerely invited Mr Huang to come back to school and join in the centenary celebration. He also expressed that alumni are the precious wealth and alumni’s achievements are related to the school’s reputation and social influence. The International College will further strengthen the alumni’s work, do its best to serve alumni and actively build a platform for alumni’s communication and cooperation.

Huang Ganggang felt grateful for XMU’s cultivation and the college’s visit made him deeply feel the concern from the alma mater. Huang briefly introduced the current status and future development vision of the company, and expressed that he would take actions to support the construction and development of XMU, and look forward to further deepening the school-enterprise cooperation in the future, launching the internship bases, etc., jointly promoting the vigorous development of the college and the school.
