I remember that when I was little, I often asked my mom what dreams are. My mom told me that everyone has a dream, but it depends on you whether you can realize it. I always thought dreams are abstract, but when I grow up, going abroad is my actual dream.
When I was a fresher at the XMU International College, I began to know every condition I need to have in order to study abroad. University life is free yet rigorous. I try hard to improve my English and make friends with people who have similar interests. This is when I felt that studying at a university is valuable. No matter students or teachers, this is where the best are.
In the second year in the university, I faced the stress of sitting for IELTS tests, but I had to transform the stress into motivation. You need to deal with the challenges for your dream, including memorizing vocabularies. You need to stick to your plan, and then you’ll find the articles are simple.
Learning is a lifelong process. IELTS is only the first step of studying abroad and there’s a long way you need to go. Never give up your dream and your hard work will eventually pay off. Believe in yourself and most importantly, believe in your dream!
