In the afternoon of November 23, Xiamen University held the Eighth Cheerleaders Tournament of Xiamen University in the Mingpei Stadium of the Siming Campus.  Vice President Wu Daguang and some school leaders attended the game. The competition was held by the Department of Sports of Xiamen University Students' Union. There were a total of 23 college teams. The game lasted for two and a half hours. In the three-minuteperformance time, the2014cheering team of the International College won the third prize with itsenergetic dance.

At 14:30 pm, all teams entered the stadium. After cheerleading warm-up activities, the game started. Our team was the number 12thto play. with the audience’ passionate cheers, high-spirited players ran into the venue. To the dynamic music, the players completed difficult moves like lifts, splits, kicks and other difficult moves one after another, which highly impressed all the judges and the audience. Although the three minutes was very short, the passion and vitality of the players and their diligent training were vividly manifested in their wonderful performance.

After the award ceremony, competition came to the close in the music, and our team members have made remarkable achievements. We hope that students of the International College will learn the solidarity and passion from the Cheerleading team in the future study and life to gain more glory!
