June 16, Xiamen University 2013 Undergraduate Admissions "Open Day" was held as scheduled, Party Secretary Yang Zhenbin came to us on-site, and Vice President Zhan Xinli greeted with the staff, asking about enrollment, talking with parents and candidates. Colleges inquiry points in front of Jiannan Auditorium lined up to receive on-site consultation from students and parents.

In order to offer in-depth understanding of our college to students and parents, and to present reference for the upcoming college entrance examination, after the "Open Day" event, our college held "2013 International College Admissions Seminar”at conferenceroom 204 in Jimei II teaching building, to provide advicefor the guests who arrived at the scene, and to introduce details of outstanding international education projects of our college.

There were more than 100 students and parents from other provinces at the scene, and they asked the most of the questions on the educational system, curriculum, teaching mode and the recognition of qualifications of our cooperative education programs and other issues. Since 2005, the International College has cultivated more than a thousand students to study abroad. Sticking to the teaching philosophy of "Imparting Knowledge and Educating People", the college employscurriculum accredited by foreign partner universities, introduces the original English teaching materials and teaching methods, and adopts a bilingual or English teaching mode, focusing on the intensive English training, professional basic courses and moral education combined reasonably, so that students are well prepared for studying abroad in terms of language preparation, study skills and independent life. Currently, more than 500 graduates are studying abroad, most of them working in banks, universities, enterprises and units.
