Graduation design work of an International-college student was kept by University of Southampton
Recently, the graduation design work “Winchester through age: Maps and Architecture” of Wang Binzhe, a student of the International college, was kept by Winchester School of Art of University of Southampton. Winchester School of Art is one of the top-10 art schools in England and the University of Southampton ranks No.81 in the world according to the 2015/16 QS ranking. It is a confirmation of the teaching quality of InternationalCollege that a graduation design work being collected by the school.
Wang Binzhe entered the “2+2” art design program in 2011. In 2013, he went to University of Southampton to continue his study. His design integrates various elements, presenting the culture and historical changes of Winchester. His unique creativity was approved widely in the graduation exhibition held in London.
All the other students of this program have successfully finished their study in England and obtained the bachelor degree. Wang Binzhe will continue his master-degree study in the Glasgow School of Art. According to statistics, 75% of the students in this subject will advance to master-degree even in the top schools of the world.
During the past eight years, the “2+2” art design program has received wide acclaim. 111 students have been enrolled by Winchester School of Art of the University of Southampton. More then 10% of them have been enrolled by world-class art institutions such as University of the Arts London, GlasgowUniversity and KingstonUniversity.
